Dear Lord's Servant
My name is Pr. Pedro Medina and I would like to communicate to you as family and part of the body of Christ the great things God is doing in Spain. In the beginning of 2007 I received an urgent call of God to go to Spain and He clearly spoken to me what I had to come here for. The need was so urgent that from the time God spoken to me and the time I stepped in Spain was just a little more than 24 hours. As an obedient servant and God's friend I made my way here. I learned that where God leads He provides and blesses you to do His will. Well, from the first day I steeped here till now I have seen the hand of God operating in great manner. God is literally pouring revival at the meetings we are leading. Regular 2 hour services are lasting more than five and the level of the prophetic and miraculous is increasing everyday. We've seen all kinds of miracles happen in these last 10 months including people lame from birth have been healed. Stomach ulcers disappears, displaced back gets back to its place, short legs grow before our eyes, the lame walk, and infirmity unknown to doctors are completely healed, many death people were healed and even a blind child was healed before our eyes.
Even though God is operating in this manner through us, very little people are getting saved. By travelling and getting to know Spain, the culture and the churches I have found the greatest need which now is the heart of our starting mission. There is very little evangelism in Spain, there is little passion and burden for the lost, very little is done and invested in evangelism. The Christians are afraid to go out into the streets and unfortunately other sects are taking more territory than us. To have an idea of the need of winning souls here, a church of about 70 people is considered a big church. Its normal to find a church that is 15 to 30 years old with 15 or 20 members. The worse part is that more than 85 percent of this number are people from Latin America which already came from a Christian background. Spain is crying out very loud and very little are listening to the voice of God. As God called Samuel and he did not recognize the voice of God at first, that's how it appears to be here in Spain. Someone needs to stand up and do something about it and as Samuel did after God called him the third time and woke up to open the door of the temple, we stand up with what we got to make evangelism a reality in Spain, not only at a local level but at a national level. We are a group of 5 young people with no more than 30 years old that are basically sacrificing everything we have to make that happen. We have a dream to have an structured mission which can supply Spain with different groups and methods of evangelism. Not just evangelize ourselves but also train the churches for evangelism. We not only want to give them the fish, but we also want to teach them how to catch them. We are starting from nothing, all we have is five loaves and two fishes but we have as our goal for 2008 to win at least 5000 people for Christ. For many local churches here that's an impossible mission, but for five people on fire for God and full of the Holy Spirit is completely possible because that dream was born from the heart of God. We do not have any financial help from the local churches here, there is not a good sense of generosity here. We are looking for people, ministries and companies that are willing to make part of that dream and make it a reality. We do have the blessing of our pastors to start this mission. It is not a common habit here to sow into missions even though we teach them wherever we go. We are skilled to train and teach many kinds of evangelism methods like, Prophetic Evangelism, Servant Evangelism, Miracle Campaigns, Creative Evangelism and Evangelism 24/7.
The vision God given me to Revival For Spain Mission is to open a school of evangelists with hundreds of intern young people (Internship ministry school) to take the power of revival to the streets and the local churches of Spain. For that to happen we need to rent a house to host those young people and teach them full time all God have given us. Also we will need a full office so we can keep our study material, evangelism material and to maintain our contacts with the partners and update the website. In Spain it just doesn't exist a mission like that. There is no intern ministry school with preparation of evangelists in Spain. We want to prepare different evangelism groups to send to the entire nation to bring souls to the kingdom and to teach and train the churches with what we know. Our vision now is not to open an local church but to help those that are already established to develop and grow in evangelism and in the supernatural of God, thus bringing multitudes to Christ. My purpose with this letter is to mobilize the body of Christ in Spain, Europe and USA to help me promote this vision and get support to build the school to save all the Iberian Peninsula. For that to happen I would like to ask you to partner with us prayerfully and financially to help us change Spain with the power of God. We are also believing God for a ministry to ADOPT our mission as THEIR mission providing them all the information needed. As a new project we are in desperate need of everything. Spain now is one of the most needed countries of Europe for the gospel and shamefully is the gay pride of Europe. Spain is considered the door to Europe for it's vast cost area. It's the entrance of most illegal drugs to Europe and it's also the European country that most consumes them. Spain also is known for its large and old witchcraft activity and one of the smallest percentage of evangelicals in Europe. No wonder God said it was urgent to come here. So, now! What about you?
